Spring Braid

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am back with a little bit different post. With spring in its full bloom and summer just around the corner, I like to put my hair up and away from my face. One of this mornings I have created this simple but beautiful hairdo which took me only 5 minutes. If you would like to know how to make it yourself, continue reading.

This bun is really great for the second day hair, when you already have some product in and your hair has more texture.

I created a simple step by step tutorial, but you can be really creative and add your own touch. Also do not worry to keep it perfectly neat, the more messy the more natural it will look.

How to:

1. Begin by braiding your hair on the opposite side where your hair parts. This allows you to work with the section of head with the most hair, easing the process to start creating your new braided look.

2.  Next,  take a small triangle section just above your ear and divide it into three even sections and start braiding it in reverse french braid. It's basically the same as doing a french braid but instead of braiding over, you braid under your braid. Then, simply braid from one side of the head to the other, adding bigger sections of hair.

3. Once you added all hair, start twisting your hair and wrap it around to form a bun and secure it with elastic. Start playing with various small sections to loose it up and to make it look more natural. Then use a couple of bobby pins to secure the bun to your head.

4. Optional step. You could also add some hair accessories, in my case fabric flowers to give it a romantic touch.

5. Enjoy the compliments :)
