Review: Borghese Fango Active Mud for Face and Body

I've always been drawn to mud masks as I have combination/ oily complexion and I have a few in use at the moment. The one I particularly like and always tend to choose over others is Borghese Fango Active Mud for Face and Body. As it is one of of my favorite masks I thought it deserved a full on review on my blog. 

The main ingredients are mineral-enriched mud to suck all the impurities out of the skin, sweet almond and avocado oils to moisturise and natural botanicals to smooth and improve your skin tone.

Fango mud mask may be quite strong if you have very sensitive skin so I would recommend trying it first on a small area to see how your skin gets along with it. I personally do have quite sensitive skin and I can use it all over my face without any problems. I usually use this mask on Sunday and never had any issues with irritation the next day. You could also use it as a spot mask for your nose or chin if you want to target just specific area and avoid any irritations. 

As mentioned this is a cleansing mud mask which can be used either on face or body. I only use mine as a face mask, but I can see it working great on your chest or back if you would like to target that area. You are supposed to apply a generous layer on your skin and let it sit for about 2 to 5 minutes. It tends to tighten up too much when completely dry so I wash it off with warm water when it's semi-tight. It's very easy to wash off unlike some other mud masks.

I'm not going to lie, it's a dark green mud mask so you will look rather creepy having it on full face as you may see from the images bellow. But it's worth it.

In terms of results this mask leaves my skin very clean and smooth. As it dries it suck all the gunk out of pores so it's very effective when it comes to eliminating any blackheads and clogged pores.

I got mine from feelunique.com and it's priced at 30,89€ for 200ml which will last you forever. All in all I think this is a great and effective mud mask when it comes to clearing out the pores and banishing blackheads. If these are your concerns, I couldn't recommend this more!
