Review Herborist T´ai Chi Masks

I have received this treatment in my last Birchbox and decided today was the day to give it a try. I love to do a little pampering session on Sundays, just to enjoy the last few relaxing moments before the new week kicks in.

Herborist The Chinese Beauty Remedy uses traditional Chinese herbal science to bring a new level of harmony and well-being. I have never tried anything from Herborist, but I was curios about this two phase mask facial treatment, a traditional concentrate for clear and bright complexion.

T'ai Chi Masks treatment brings a perfect balance to your skin by purifying your skin first and then nourishing it.

The black mask is Yin, and acts as a cleanser that removes impurities from the surface of the skin and from inside of the pores with its ingredients of red peony and bamboo charcoal.

The white mask is Yang and it soothes and softens skin with white peony, bletilla striata and white virginian truffle.

Instructions tell you to use the black mask first. Apply thin layer all over the face and massage it for about 5 minutes. After removing the black mask, apply white mask immediately, massage for about 2-3 minutes and leave the mask for about 10 minutes to allow a better action.

After 10 minutes you remove the white mask with sponge pad and rinse the face with water. Instantly, I felt my skin super soft and smooth.

The only downside to this product is its prize 49 € (ouch) for 120 ml.

This is a lovely product to try, definitely something different for your face but I am not sure if its worth to splurge on.
