I was immediately attracted to this palette as it has all the shades you could possibly need for every day makeup look. I haven't really tried much Too Faced products before, but I absolutely love this palette.
Natural Eyes Palette comes in a tin packaging, very sleek and sturdy, which is an improvement from the previous cardboard addition (I believe that you can still buy the old packaging in Spain). It also has a good-sized mirror which is always a big plus.
The color selection contains nine nude shades, four mattes and five shimmers. The selection is great as it goes from very light shades to very dark shades, and they are all very wearable.
The shadows are divided into three rows: Day, Classic and Fashion. It also
comes with a handy booklet that provides instructions on how to
create each look.
The formula of the shadows is fantastic. The shadows themselves are soft, buttery and very pigmented with hardly any fallout. It's really easy to work with these eye shadows as they blend easily and the colors complement each other nicely, creating a variety of combinations for daytime or evening use.
L-R: Heaven, Cashmere Bunny, Sexspresso |
First row called "Day" is all matte: Heaven (cream matte), Cashmere Bunny (taupe matte) and Sexspresso (deep brown matte).
L-R: Silk Teddy, Push-Up, Erotica |
To create a classic look you can use Silk Teddy (peach champagne shimmer), Push-Up (light bronze) and Erotica (charcoal brown). I must admit that Silk Teddy is my favorite from the bunch.
L-R: Nudie, Honey Pot, Chocolate Martini |
Fashion: Nudie (fawn matte), Honey Pot (gold pearl) and Chocolate Martini (deep brown with gold shmmer).
It has it all, a great crease mattes, blend all together mattes and
beautiful highlighting shimmers which makes it the perfect palette for
every day use.
All in all, this palette is fantastic. It is compact and versatile, and I think it is a great investment if you are looking for great "can do it all" palette. You can pick it up at Sephora for $36.
I have used mine almost every single day since I bought it three weeks ago and don't think that it's gonna change anytime soon.
Have any of you tried this palette? What were your thoughts?
