Coral Ambition

I was super excited when I picked up the Meet Your Match kit from Sephora. This set contains six corresponding lip and nail colors: coral, nude and purple. These shades are beautiful and great for spring and summer and the cute miniatures are great way to keep up with hot trends and try new brands.

The coral section comes with Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Tint in Elite and Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Both products were new to me since I've never tried any Tarte lip product nor Deborah Lippman nail polishes.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun is described as a "carefree coral" with creme finish. It is very vibrant, true to color coral-red and looks absolutely beautiful. The formula is good, not too thick not too thin, and it was opaque in 2 coats, which is great. It has a nice glossy finish, almost like jelly. Great fun color for spring and summer.

Sometimes I find it hard to wear coral lip especially on pale complexion, but Lipsurgence Lip Tint in Elite looks beautiful and is very flattering. I would describe this shade as a soft warm coral with a hint of pink. Once applied, it has a sheen finish which dries to a nice satin tint. It is quite moisturizing with a hint of mint scent and feels very comfortable on the lips. Beautiful shade and amazing product for summer.

So far, I am absolutely loving this kit and think of it as a great investment if you are looking for new brands and fun shades.
