Today I am back with a bit different blog post, since I wanted to share with you some of my favorite natural masks which I prepare at home. I love to prepare homemade masks because they are easy, inexpensive and you know exactly what
you put in so you can prepare mix according to your needs.
Remember to apply your homemade mask to well-cleansed face and follow recommended time to achieve desired effect.
Always make sure that you are using fresh products and that you are not allergic to any of ingredients. |
Face mask for oily skin:
Apple-cinnamon mask for oily skin
This face mask helps with cleansing and tightening pores. Mix grated apple with one tablespoon of natural white yogurt, one tablespoon of honey, ground cinnamon and a table spoon of oatmeal. Apply mixture on your skin and let it work for about 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Apple and honey mask against acne
For this mask you will need one medium apple and honey. Grate apple, add two tablespoons of honey and stir together. Apply mask on your face, especially on your T-zone. Leave it on for about 30 minutes and rinse off.
For dry skin:
Nutritious banana mask for dry skin
Mix one banana with one egg yolk and a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Develop soft jelly-like consistency and apply on cleansed skin. Let it work for 20-30 minutes and rinse off.
For sensitive skin:
Soothing avocado mask
Simply mash half of an avocado until its smooth and apply to cleansed skin. Let it work for about 20 minutes and wash off.
Soothing yogurt mask
Mix two tablespoons of plain white yogurt and one tablespoon of honey. Apply on clean skin and let it dry. Wash off with lukewarm water. This is also a great remedy if you had too much sun since it calms down burn and redness.
