Makeup may not be everybody's thing, but a good lip balm is what every girl needs to keep her lips in top conditions. I've already mentioned my favorite nigh time lip balm, but today it's time to have a better look at my daytime choice, Rêve de Miel from Nuxe.
Rêve de Miel is an ultra nourishing lip balm with honey, plant oils, Shea butter and grapefruit essence. Honey is a great natural moisturizer and its said that it was one of Cleopatra's beauty secret, so I was really excited to try this well-hyped lip miracle.
The packaging is a small, weighty frosted glass jar with a white lid, sturdy and very mature. The product itself has a very thick formula which is unnoticeable once applied. It coats your lips in an invisible hydrating shield that is completely non-sticky. What I found unique is that it dries matte, creating a great base for any lip product. The scent is definitely on the fresh citric side with a slight touch of honey, but nothing overpowering.
The staying power is also very impressive. Even though it is super lightweight, it hydrates and soothes even the most chapped and dry lips for hours. On the other hand be careful not to apply too much product, as it may get on your teeth.
I know that is quite pricey for a lip balm, but you only need a tiny bit of product and it will last you for ages. I have been using mine for several months and I barely touched the surface.

Overall, this product gets a big thumbs up. It is lightweight yet moisturizing and it will keep your lips in top condition.
